This notice is placed by Secretariat of Baa Eydhafushi Council in seeking developers for the Development of a Green zone in Baa Eydhafushi. To give an equal opportunity for all the interested parties, Council invites proponents to submit EOIs for the development.

Title of the EOI

Development of Green Zone in Baa Eydhafushi with the below detailed descriptions in mind, for an initial period of 1 year. The EOI shall be submitted via e mail with the subject EOI for the DEVELOPMENT OF B. EYDHAFUSHI GREENZONE or to the address given below, on or before 14:00 hrs. of 1^st August 2023

1-  Description of Requirements

• Secretariat of the Eydhafushi Council intends to enter into a contract to develop a green zone in Baa Eydhafushi for the purpose of promoting a healthy lifestyle, facilitate social interaction for the aging population, relaxation and mental restoration for the community.
• The proposed development adheres to a landscape plan that designates approximately 75% of the land for greenery and plantings.
• The project includes the construction of two play grounds, ensuring recreational opportunities for residents of all ages.
• A pond, strategically located at the corner of the land, will enhance the ecological diversity and aesthetic appeal of the green zone.
• The plan incorporates two lawns, providing open spaces for gatherings and community activities.
• Thoughtfully designed walkways, will ensure easy and accessible movement throughout the green zone
• In line with the Council's vision, a monument will be erected to symbolize and represent the B. Eydhafushi Council, adding a sense of identity and pride to the area.
• The development will prioritize inclusivity and accessibility, creating an environment that caters to the needs of all age groups within the community
• The council will allow to move the existing plants and other things in the given land area.

2-  General Information

• All parties interested in carrying out investments are required to submit the application form along with other required documents.
• Council has right to reject any incomplete application form, hence council strongly recommends applicants to fill in all the information and attach all the required details as per as checklist
• All the financial figures including financial statements must be in Maldivian Rufiyaa (MVR)
• In case Council receives more than one proposal for the development, Council would proceed with the EOI that best suits the Council's vision, strategic objectives and masterplan.
• In evaluating the EOIs, proposed business model, experience of operator and developer/contractor, proposed team, financial stability, capability and CSR will be considered
• Council reserves the right to accept or reject any proposal, and to annul the EOI process and reject all proposals at any given time prior to framework agreement signing, without thereby incurring any liability to proponents. The duly completed document set should be submitter as per the prescribed expression of Interest (EO) Application Form attached with this announcement.
• The applicant should bear all costs associated with the preparation and submission of the EOI application form.
