INVITATION FOR TENDER

HIRING A PARTY FOR CARRYING OUT THE TOILET BLOCK WORK OF EMS VEHICLE GARAGE  

State Trading Organization Plc. (STO) is pleased to offer registered parties in Maldives, the opportunity to submit proposals for carrying out the construction works of toilet block at EMS vehicle garage. 

       1.   Scope of Service Required

1.1   Construction of toilet block works at EMS vehicle garage.

       2.      The Eligible Tenderers are limited to:

2.1   The applicant must provide evidence of at least one similar project of value MVR 200,000 within the past five years.  

2.2   The applicant must not be a Blacklisted / Default/ Legal Customer of State Trading Organization Plc. or any subsidiaries of State Trading Organization Plc.

2.3   The applicant must not be blacklisted or debarred by the Ministry of Finance and must not have any unresolved issues with the Ministry of Economic Development or MIRA.

        3.      Eligibility of the proponent will be validated by:

3.1   Reference letter/work completion certificates or any documentation in the name of Companies/Government Entities/Institutions/Commission etc. (any legal or government entity) for successful completion of at least one similar nature of project involving construction works.

3.2   The applicant must not be a Blacklisted / Default/ Legal Customer of State Trading Organization Plc. or any subsidiaries of State Trading Organization Plc.

3.3    The applicant must not be blacklisted or debarred by the Ministry of Finance and must not have any unresolved issues with the Ministry of Economic Development or MIRA.

        4.      Required documents for registration:

4.1   Company certificates (Registration certificate, Memorandum of association, Articles of association, Business information sheet, Bank details, Identity card of business shareholders, MIRA TAX clearance report and registration certificate).

 Registration & bid document: Tenderers can register via email to tenders@sto.mv along with the company certificates and documents required to verify the eligibility criteria.

 Deadline for registration: 1^st October 2024, 11:00hrs

 ONLY Eligible Tenderers can participate in the tender.

 A complete set of Bidding Document in English will be sent via email on, 2^nd October 2024, only to the parties who have successfully registered and are eligible under the tender. 

 Queries and Replies: Queriesshall be writtenin English, and shall be sent via email, on or before 7^th October 2024, 11:00hrs to the address specified below. Response to queries will be given on 7^th October 2024, to all those who have successfully registered under this tender.          

 Tender submission: Documents shall be emailed to tenders@sto.mv[NOT LATER than 10^th October 2024 at 11:00hrs.]

                                                     Submissions received after deadline will be rejected.
