INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI)

DEVELOPMENT OF MULTI STORY WAREHOUSE AT HULHUMALE’ LOT 10681

Business Center Corporation, a Government of the Maldives owned Company, invites interested parties to express their interest for the Development of a state-of-the-art warehousing facility in Hulhumalé Lot 10681 Plot M4-11.

The development models that can be proposed for this project include, but are not limited to, the Contractor Finance Model, the Joint Venture Model or the Lease Model for the Design, Engineering, Construction and Operation of the entire Warehousing Facility. Regardless of the Model proposed, the benefits to both the proponent and the BCC should be clearly stated.

In the event the BCC receives more than 1 (one) proposal, the Corporation would proceed with the proposal that meets the Corporation’s strategic objectives for this project the best. The EOI’s will be evaluated based on the proponent’s experience in similar projects, available financial resources, technical capabilities, proposed team, and the proposed concept for the warehousing facility.

The Corporation reserves all rights to accept or reject any proposal, and to annul the EOI process and reject all proposals at any time prior to Agreement signing, without thereby incurring any liability to the Proponents. In such an event all proponents will be informed, and all proposals will be returned.

The duly completed document set shall be submitted as per the prescribed “Expression of Interest (EOI) Application Form” attached with this announcement. The submissions shall include the proposed concept design for the warehousing facility.
